Dr. Rebeca M. Monreal, D.O.

Salem Pain & Spine Specialists, PC brings a new dimension to the interventional pain services in the Willamette Valley. SPSS is an independent physician practice and Dr. Monreal is excited to join the Marion/Polk medical community.Dr. Monreal brings a unique dimension and is differentiated by her primary specialty of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Beyond her residency training, she has additional fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management.

Dr. Monreal began her focus on rehabilitation and functional recovery with a background in physical therapy and then an Osteopathic Medical education. She earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and subsequent residency training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. During her residency and fellowship training, Dr. Monreal had the opportunity to learn from and study with internationally recognized physicians. Her desire to provide comprehensive neuro-musculoskeletal care for her patients led her to complete an anesthesia-based comprehensive interventional pain fellowship at Utah Center for Pain Management and Research, Nexus Pain Care.

Dr. Monreal is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of International Pain Physicians, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, North American Spine Society and American Academy of Pain Medicine. Dr Monreal is a participating member of the Salem Spine Center of excellence that provides collaborative care with consults from neurosurgeons, interventional pain physicians and physiatrists.
